Woman's Day

Vietnam has a lot of festival, and one of them is Woman's Day.It's held on the eighth of March all over the world. People celebrate this festival to thank all the women in the world. Why do we thank them? Because now the women play an important role in our family and society.  

The eighth of March, that is a long history story about the competition for the independence and the happiness of women over the world. Women are people who made the history of 8 March, every year, creating a day covered by colorful flower had exchanged a lot of blood and tear fallen in the past. There were many of competitions of woman happened on history March cause of woman's interests and development. Until 1975s, United Nation Organization took 8th of March annual year to become International Woman Day.

On Woman's Day, the women receive gifts, flowers and wishes from boy colleague and everybody around them. In this day, men around the world work all for their women, such as: wife, mother,sister,teacher....The sons can look after their sister, clean the furniture...as a gift they give their mother. The men can cook a meal, do housework,...to help their women.

I think Woman's Day is a meaningful festival because it let us know the importance of women.
